Classes: I offer private, semi-private and group classes in Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis®, Pilates, and Fitness Barre.
Bio: I have been teaching a variety of fitness and movement modalities for over 20 years. When I was working as a professional dancer, the exploration of Gyrotonic Expansion Methods® and Pilates both extended the life of my career as well as improved the quality of my movement. In addition to the classes offered here, I also teach Ballroom, Latin and Social Dance.
Qualifications: I hold several movement certifications including: Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinsesis®, Pilates Equipment, Pilates Mat, Booty Barre, Bodywerk Barre, Ballroom & Latin Dance, American Cross CPR & First Aid
Specialisms: I have had the opportunity to take several specialized courses to increase body awareness and function. Two of my favorites have been Applications for the Shoulder Girdle with Paul Horvath and Gyrokinesis Breathing Intensive with Juliu Horvath.
Favorite Exercises: I love exercises that challenge flexibility while focusing on stability. It is easy for us to find comfort in the exercises that are easiest for us, but personal growth comes from challenging ourselves within and without.
